El proyecto es una iniciativa comunitaria para la creación y mantenimiento del “Parque La Ceiba de Vieques” en el Área Oeste de la Isla Municipio de Vieques. El propósito del parque es crear espacios abiertos dedicados al disfrute de los residentes, visitantes, turistas y para el público en general. El mismo conserva la Flora y Fauna creando un oasis funcional del área en su estado natural. Se pretende que el parque beneficie a todos los miembros de la comunidad, a los visitantes, y además de servir de atractivo turístico y educativo.
El Parque La Ceiba de Vieques preserva y protege el hogar de nuestra Ceiba histórica, patrimonio natural y cultural reconocido internacionalmente, para generaciones futuras. Vengan, disfruten y conozcan a La Ceiba y nuestro parque.

This project is a community initiative for the creation and maintenance of “Parque La Ceiba de Vieques” located on the West side of the Municipal Island of Vieques. The purpose of the park is to create open spaces dedicated to the enjoyment of residents, visitors, tourists and the general public. The Park preserves the Flora and Fauna creating a functional oasis of the area in its natural habitat. The “Parque La Ceiba de Vieques” benefits all members of the community, visitors, and is a tourist attraction and educational landmark.
The Park preserves and protects the home of our historical “Ceiba Tree”, a natural and cultural heritage, internationally recognized for future generations. Come, enjoy and experience the “Ceiba Tree” and our Park.
